El 5 de febrero de 2016, la Contraloría General del Estado ejecutó el cobro de USD 2029,51 dólares a Radio Genial Exa FM 92.5 tras una sanción administrativa impuesta por la Superintendencia de la información y Comunicación (Supercom), por incumplir el artículo 60 de la Ley Orgánica de Comunicación, referente a la identificación y clasificación de los tipos de contenidos.
El 25 de mayo de 2015, la SUPERCOM, mediante una resolución determinó la responsabilidad de radio “Exa” por no identificar ni clasificar el contenido de un programa emitido el 20 de marzo de 2015, y la sancionó con el cobro de cinco salarios básicos unificados
Esta es la décima ocasión que la Supercom cobra multas por sanciones a través de la Contraloría.
Supercom collects the tenth fine through coercive action of the comptroller
On February 5th, 2016, the Comptroller General of The State executed the collection of USD 2029,51 from Radio Genial Exa FM 92.5 after an administrative sanction imposed by the Superintendency of Information and Communication (Supercom). It was because of breaching article 60 from the Organic Law of Communication (LOC), which refers to the identification and classification of types of content.
On May 25th, 2015, Supercom, through a resolution, mandated legal liability to the radio for not identifying and classifying the content of a program broadcasted on March 20th, 2015; thus, it charged a fine of 5 unified basic salaries.
This is the tenth case in which Supercom takes action through the Comptroller to collect fines that are result of sanctions.
