La página web de la organización no gubernamental Corporación Participación Ciudadana fue atacada la mañana de este 25 de mayo por piratas informáticos, impidiendo que esta pueda ser actualizada y que los usuarios puedan acceder a ella.
En diálogo con Fundamedios, Pablo Villacís, de Participación Ciudadana, aseguró que el portal está completamente bloqueado y ha sido redireccionado a la página de http://www.elite-hackers.com. “Las razones de este hackeo no son claras, pero complica enormemente la labor de la organización ya que no podemos acceder a la página ni actualizar información. Institucionalmente nos preocupa por la actividades de control social que realizamos y resulta delicado para nosotros”, apuntó Villacís.
La página a la cual se redirecciona el portal de la ONG está escrito en inglés y en este se detallan consejos para ser un hacker. “Mi nombre es schiz0id y soy hacker desde que tenía 13 años. La gente me conoce como los de élite. Desde que el hackeo es un verdadero arte que no se aprende de la noche a la mañana, he decidido ayudar a quienes están destinados a este arte”, reza la parte medular de dicho portal.
Los voceros de la organización señalaron que están investigando el tipo de ataque que sufrió el portal de la organización, el cual todavía permanece deshabilitado.

"The reasons for the hacking are unclear, but it greatly complicates the work of the organization because we cannot access the page or update information. Institutionally we are concerned about the fiscal control activities we carry out and it is delicate for us", said Villacis.
The page to which the NGO's portal is redirected to is written in English and gives detailed advice on how to become a hacker. "My name is schiz0id and I have been hacking since I was 13. People know me as one of the elite. Since hacking is a true art that isn't learned overnight, I have decided to help those who are destined to master the art of hacking", says the portal's core.
Spokesmen for the organization said they are investigating the type of attack suffered by the organization's website, which still remains disabled.
