Radio RSN de Guayaquil deberá pagar USD 3660 tras ser sancionada el pasado 23 de junio por la Superintendencia de la Información y Comunicación (Supercom) por repetir el ataque verbal de un oyente contra Gabriel Pin , locutor del noticiero quien había sido insultado con la palabra “hijueputa”.
La entidad reguladora concluyó que el medio “incumplió con el artículo 65 de la (LOC), al difundir una palabra procaz y esta es una expresión que va en contra de la franja horaria familiar, durante el programa “América Dignidad” del 17 de mayo de 2016”. Durante la audiencia ante la autoridad, el representante del medio “justificó el uso del término “censurado” y señaló que repitió el ataque verbal de un oyente”, del cual fue objeto a través de una llamada telefónica. Por su parte, el representante de la Supercom, sostuvo que el locutor del espacio infringió las normas establecidas en la Ley, al difundir una expresión o insulto no adecuados para la franja horaria en la que se transmite el espacio informativo.
